Information for authors

Agrociencia is a scientific publication founded and supported by the Colegio de Postgraduados, published every six months in English format. Its objective is to offer researchers in agricultural sciences and related areas in Mexico and other countries a means to publish the results of their research.

Manuscripts derived from theoretical or experimental research will be accepted in Agrociencia in the form of a Scientific Article, Scientific Note or Essay.

All manuscripts must be original and unpublished, and must not have been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal. If accepted, they will be refereed and edited. Research that has been published only in abstract form (in proceedings or newsletters) may be submitted for publication.

Topics relevant to the 11 sections, related to agricultural and related sciences may be published:

  • Water-Soil-Climate
  • Biotechnology
  • Animal Science
  • Food Science
  • Wildlife
  • Crop Science
  • Agricultural Machinery
  • Applied Mathematics-Statistics-Computer Science
  • Plant Protection
  • Natural Renewable Resources
  • Socioeconomics

Manuscripts will be received only in the original language, Spanish or English, but will be published in English. The translation from one to the other will be done by professionals designated by Agrociencia©. Translation fees and payment will be agreed upon between author and translator, and full payment must be made to the satisfaction of both parties, in order for the manuscript to be published.

Once the manuscript has been submitted on the platform, communication between authors and Agrociencia is established and maintained via e-mail [email protected]

Editing administrative procedure.

Dear Author, Agrociencia requests for each approved article the amount of $12,000.00 (twelve thousand pesos 00/100 M.N.) / the payment in USD will depend on the exchange rate of the day the payment is made; this will cover the cost of the services of: digital revision and editing, hypertext assembly, digital security certificates, and markup (XML and DOI). It should be clarified and taken into account that these costs are updated year after year.
